I tried the new ETH2GC solution and really liked it. Didn't like the available print cause I wanted to use it with the gameboy player attached. I came up with the idea to integrate it in serial port 1 just like the original broadband adapter. Really like the outcome of it. The clicker broke on my test print, so I decided to glue it in place.
To create this thing I used the following parts from aliexpress:
The wiring is as follows:
SP2 -> ENC28J60
GND -> GND
3.3v -> VCC
CLK -> SCK
INT -> INT
D0 -> S1
D1 t -> S0
CS -> CS
