Summary

This is a chassis for Wifi/Zigbee sensor PCB and 18650 battery holder. I use a ZigBee version but WiFi should fit too, this is for the sensors that are designed to be powered from 2xAAA battery initially, but I wanted something that would last longer. So I replaced 2xAAA batteries with 1 LiIon(LiPo) cell 18650. You need to add a diode 1N4001 (4002...4007 will work too) to lower LiIon voltage to acceptable level for the sensor.

Desolder battery contacts, and then you'll be able to remove PCB from it's original plastic frame.

(I did this already but with cheap zigbee Chinese sensors powered from CR2032 - so far 8months without getting battery level below 100% 😆 )

This is for now only a model. Spacing & margins (XY=0,3mm/Z=0,2mm layer) designed for my Ender 3 precision 😉

You'll need to put it together: 2x M3x25 for chassis, and 1x M3x6(8) for holding PCB
