Okay, I admit it. I AM the Easter Bunny. . . .and sometimes I need a little help laying lots of eggs for events like egg hunts. I was laying down one night watching March Madness (Go Heels! super proud but, yes, a little disappointed in the end), whacking myself in the head with a 2-in (ID) cardboard shipping tube I had laying around (I lay the blame on the lay referees for this aggression), and the idea suddenly came to me -- a gravity-fed semiautomatic egg layer is just what I need. With this I think I can reach all kinds of places that kids can easily get to but I can't, and it's gentle enough that the little plastic eggs I use won't crack open. Remember -- this is an egg LAYER, not an egg launcher.
I printed the grip in two parts because my SLA printer is small. I included the separated parts and also the joined part. The Grip is an M4 pistol grip that I found on Onshape public documents (by Santiago Rizo). The rest of the handle is very loosely based on an AR-15 lower. I also included a version of the sheath that has a printed disc in the middle, which I used this as a raft for large support material.
