The file 'Sega System 24 Arcade Hardware Floppy Drive Mount Brackets (Consolidation Kit) 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 107.7KB.
The Sega System 24 Arcade hardware often includes a Floppy Disc Drive (FDD), these are some brackets that mount the FDD on top of the PCB to make the whole setup more compact and easy to handle and store.
"Left" and "right" sides are defined as if looking at the face of the FDD or looking at the edge connector on the System 24 PCB.
The Left Bracket is designed to mount on top of the ROM board. Official Sega stand-offs for this board are 2-part and have a small piece that sit on top of the PCB. the Left bracket for the FDD has 2 options, one with a recess designed to fit over the official Sega Stand-offs, and another without the recess allowing it to more easily be installed with normal stand-offs that don't have a section above the PCB.
This is designed to work with the official Sega ROM board, which is 1.6mm thick and has 20mm stand-offs below it and 1.8mm stand-off-cap above the PCB. If you are using a reproduction ROM board it might not have the same height and may be lower, if this is the case I would recommend adding a stand off on top of the reproduction ROM board along with the Left bracket for Sega-Stand-offs to ensure proper height.
Install the brackets to the FDD first then install onto the PCB. You may need to source longer mounting hardware due to the extra thickness added from the FDD brackets.
