I've created a Sega Megadrive USB port for the Megadrive Model 1. A USB port holder that is unique as it does not require any modification to the console case itself.
For this to work, the 5v rectifier modification on the Model 1 mainboard must be performed otherwise the console needs 10v to operate (Details on this modification are freely available on the internet)
Update 27/9/2024
Changed so that the part fits better into the chassis of the Model 1 and the USB C is central in the power port. Also changed it so that it's easier to solder the +VE and GND wires onto the USB C board.
