This is a direct replacement for the small rubber dampers (bushings?) that the optical drive sits on. The original dampers are often perished and this can cause disc reading issues or grinding noises as the disc spins.
I recommend printing these in TPU (essentially a rubber material) so that it has a degree of flex to the material (the original part is very flexible!) Printing them in plastic will not work correctly. You obviously need to print 4.
I have designed the damper so that it has a built-in support for the middle 'inner' section, please print the part on it's side so that this support is building straight up from the bed. The support does not need to be removed as it just sits in the slot part of the cut out on the optical drive (This should be self explanatory, but insert the rounded part into the cut out slot first and press it in until it clears the slot and sits freely in the round part of the cut out).
Hopefully this fixes a few consoles!
