The file 'Scythe Power Token 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 631.3KB.
I recently picked up an expansion for Scythe and one of the factions had 2 Wind Mills but no Power Token! I just noticed this today (Friday) and my 9 year old son's looking forward to playing as that faction on Sunday, so I don't have enough time to get a replacement shipped. Yeah, I know that he could just use an unused faction's token... but it's a lot more fun to design my own!
So, I grabbed a high resolution photo of a player board and traced over the the left half of the power icon in Inkscape with bezier curves. I then imported that SVG into Blender, mirrored the SVG, and then put a Solidify modifier on the whole thing. For good measure, I applied that modifier and added a little bit of depth details to the shield and the arrows, just because I could =)
Now, I just need to paint it tonight, seal it on Saturday (and hope that the paint doesn't run, due to the short curing time), then we'll be good to play on Sunday! In fact, I like this design enough that I'm going to print them out for all of the factions =)
The Blend file for this model is available to my patrons at https://www.patreon.com/posts/21420851!
10/2 Update: I added some more overlap between the power icon and the ribbon to make it easier to print.
If you don't want to print this yourself, it may be available from one of my 3D Printing Partners listed at https://objectforge.blogspot.com/p/3d-printing-partners.html!
