This thing is to add Air Assist to Sculpfun S9 laser engraver cutter. Included is a jig to bend the 4mm aluminum tubing and to cut the end off at the correct angle and a jig to drill the hole through the orange acrylic shield so you don't need to take it off for this upgrade. I have upgraded the firmware to GRBL v1.1 to use end stop inputs and "cooling" / Air Assist output. The Air Assist output is connected to a relay that actuates an air solenoid valve. You must edit the config.h file and some machine settings correctly, so be careful if you go the automation route. I use Lightburn and it has an Air Assist on/off slider for each layer.

I had to added a capacitor to stop EMP from the magnetic field breakdown when relay is turned off. The EMP would stop/pause the laser.
