The file 'Screw-in System For Affixing Things To A Chain-link Fence (Or Filament Holder) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 483.7KB.
Here's a useful 3D printable screw-in system for mounting things on a chain-link fence. Should work on all chain-link fences, even if the notches don't line up perfectly.
The "Pad" is a multi-purpose platform for affixing anything – you could send screws into it and hang up a painting, or attach magnets for storing whiteboard markers. Or whatever.
The "Shaft" is for mounting filament spools on the fence if your printing lab – like mine –has chain-link walls.
Also included is an "Extended Shaft" for storing two rolls at once.
The shaft, extended shaft, and pad all screw into the "Nut" on the other side of the fence.
Printing:
The shaft, nut, and pad all can be printed at 10% infill. For the extended shaft, go with something higher (~22%) to ensure it won't break.
Enjoy.
