The file 'Screw-fastened Water Splash Protection Box For In-line Cable/cord Switches 3D Printer Model' is (stl, blend) file type, size is 222.3KB.
This box was made to contain in-line switches of electrical cables to protect them from water splashes. I designed it for my application's measurements:
Switch: ~3.5x1.5x3cm
Cable: 0.5x0.7cm
You may need to adjust the model's dimensions for to fit your use-case.
The screw holes are meant to hold standard wood screws in order to hold the entire box together tightly.
WARNING: This is NOT, and never can be, considered to be watertight. Never use this model in order to submerge any electronics and cables into water. I personally designed this in order to protect a plant light cable switch (I turn it off and on via a timer on the socket) from water splashes when watering the plant, and I moved the cable as far away from the plant as possible. If you think you can use publicly available 3D models in order to reliably waterproof anything, you probably deserve whatever happens to you.
The screw holes and general design layout are based off of guppyk's model for a box with a DIY switch; only the holes were copied from the design (and adjusted), I created the rest from scratch.
