Summary

Scotch tape dispenser with magnetic base and spindle using 12x3mm magnets. If you print this, you should orient the objects for the least amount of support, either in normal orientation or with the cutter end up. You can buy the 12x3 magnets on Amazon (50 for around $12). I added pix of one I covered in wood veneer. The print was kind of noodly, so the wood saved me from throwing it out. I used fast setting CA glue with an activator, but I think a better choice may have been a foamy glue like Gorilla Glue. I like the way the veneer covers the magnets on the bottom - still sticks very well on the fridge. :)

Pro-tip : Scotch tape does not stick to PLA plastic very well - add a bit of super glue to the surface of the print on the lip where the tape meets the dispenser and let it dry to a shiny surface. This will make shearing off pieces of tape much easier.
