Summary

DRO housing and readout holder, custom made for my SCM Minimax SC1g sliding table saw, to fit the DRO LP02 from AliExpress. Will also fit the M503 DRO (white), since they have identical dimensions. However the LP02 has a shorter cable and is better suited for this application.

My saw is equipped with the improved rip fence, sliding on a stainless steel rod. This is the same fence as on the SC2 models, and probably on the larger models as well.

The housing is identical in dimensions with DerBlaumann22's, but I remodeled it to accomodate12x3 mm magnets, since I couldn't source any 15x5 mm magnets. If you can find the bigger magnets - use Blaumann's model instead. It's a fancier model, and bigger magnets should provide somewhat better holding power.

For complete installation, you will need:
1 DRO - LP02 or M503 with 1 metre magnetic strip (AliExpress)
2 12x3 mm neodym magnets (available at Kjell & Co, if you live in Sweden! :))
2 M3x15-20 mm screws (the included 12 mm screws were just a tad too short)
2 M3 nuts
2 M8x25 mm screws
2 M8 washers
1 cable tie with double sided tape
CA glue for attaching magnets to DRO holder

By using the exisiting holes on the rip fence cast iron bracket, no extra holes need to be drilled, and no cables are visible. The sensor can just slide through the largest hole, and superfluous cable tucked in under the holder. The sensor holder attaches to the cast iron by pre-existing M8 holes. I have made slots rather than holes for the screws, to provide some adjustability.

Sketchup files included, should you like to modify the model yourself.
