Summary

A simple seesaw / scale model I created to help showcase how the arm/lever length can impact a moment force. The lever/flat part has multiple holes so you can change the resulting moment of an item placed at one end of the seesaw. A good way to showcase moments in a learning environment.

Assembly is simple. Place the small pin through one hole of the arm. From there, drop the arm+pin into the slot of the base. Lift arm+pin whenever you want to change the location of the pin along the arm.

The holes are evenly spaced in increments of 15mm. The platforms at the ends of the seesaw have a converging bottom in an attempt to place round items (e.g. marbles) at a fixed length from the pivot point.

I printed the model at 10% infill, 0.28mm layers, and 65mm/s speed. Supports were used for the holes. Ender3 used.
