The file 'Savi’s Workshop Galaxy’s Edge Light Saber Wall Mount 3D Printer Model' is (f3d,stl) file type, size is 4.5MB.
This is a wall mount for my light saber created at Savi's Workshop at Disneyland Galaxy Edge.
Update 29-Jul-2022: The hinge on the clamp is designed for a 3mm x 20mm cap head screw, with 3mm nut on the bottom (there is a recess for the nut so it should sit flush). Another user asked this question, and realized the description below is not super clear.
Update 14-Apr-2020: @davidms12 has posted a Remix supporting the Rancor tooth model. He's also included a nicely made clip to hold the saber. Nicely done and thanks! Check out his Remix here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4259598
Update 17-Dec-2019: Added base piece for Peace and Freedom hilt. The clamp portion fits. Thanks goes to @CodeBender.
Update 17-Dec-2019: Added a +5mm long screw per request. May help those using two top-mounts (e.g. Rancor teeth versions).
I designed the mount to support either a vertical wall mount, or a horizontal/angled method of mounting on the wall. Even includes a 3D printed thumbscrew so you can easily remove it to show to friends, along with a slot to accept printed logos (Resistance, Jedi Order, and First Order coming soon).
My configuration is the Elemental Nature variety, with the parts I chose when building it shown in the picture.
There are a lot of combinations and permutations of the light saber you build at Savi's. Although this one fits my build, it's entirely possible that it may also fit yours (specifically the clamp).
I may be able to help create parts to support more combinations if you post pictures and dimensions of your configuration. Also, my light saber was created on day 1 of Disneyland's Cast Member previews, so I hope dimensions haven't changed since then. Feel free to comment if you encounter this.
You'll need a 3mm x 20mm screw and nut to hold the clamp together. The clamp is pinched shut using the 3D printed thumbscrew, which should print fine at 0.2mm layer height with a reasonably adjusted printer. The mounting holes are sized for most typical drywall anchor screws (at least in the USA).
Please post a make if you end up using this. Til the Spire!
