The file 'Saturn 4 Ultra Drip Tray 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 3.5MB.
Since the drip tray that came with my Saturn 4 Ultra developed a hole within a week, I decided to make this. This has a full version as well as being cut in half and sixth to better manage printing on various machines. This is solid but you shouldn't have any problems hollowing the pieces out.
Be careful with the slots that slide under the vat screws. They are only 1.75 mm thick. There is no need to cinch them down with an impact wrench. Technically, you just need to loosen the screws enough to slide this in. Tightening the screws is just a precaution to bumping the tray out of alignment. Remember to remove the tray and tighten screws before next print.
For the love of George Lucas make sure this does not leak after gluing or even if you are printing this as one piece. Please test with water. Don't come at me if you skipped this step. Also, check regularly for leaks.
Some features:
-Drip channels are half tubes to make cleanup easier.
-No stupid raised lettering to make clean up easier.
-Spout on one end if you spill, like, A LOT of resin to...you guessed it...to make clean up easier.
Form those of you paying attention this is labeled as version 2. There is no version 1. That is how I label my projects. Don't judge.
Any questions contact me here OR on FB in the ELEGOO SATURN Series 3D Printer Owners Group.
WARNING This is NOT designed to be installed while the printer is printing. The tilting bed on the Saturn 4 Ultra would jam up.
Printing notes:
-This was designed in Fusion 360 and test printed with Lychee.
-I have been told Chitubox resizes this automatically. Double check before printing.
Version 2.1 Added 8/9/24
-Handles! Duh.
