This is our flatpack Reindeer and Sleigh Christmas Decoration, ideal for sending with a card as an extra Xmas gift to say you're thinking of someone special.

It's designed in the style of an "Airfix" flatpack model. It prints in one piece without a raft or support, the flatpack pieces are then cut-out from the frame and assembled. When printed correctly glue should not be required.

We've uploaded the model and instructions here as a special Xmas surprise, but the model is available to buy complete with an original card (painted by FreeLanceChlo) from our Etsy Shop.

This miniature sleigh and reindeer is a great little decoration for the tree or mantelpiece. Why not include one in a Christmas card as a special gift!

We're still getting to grips with 3D printing, and though our goal is to start producing 3D protein models, there's no reason not to have a bit of fun in the mean-time.

One of our designers used Inkscape and Open SCAD to create this little Christmas decoration!

Simply cut-out the parts from the Airfix-like frame (scissors recommended), and slot them together, use glue if the joints are loose. The tolerances are pretty tight, but we've adjusted the joints so they should fit together nicely...

Recommended size: 126.6 x 180 x 2.3 (to fit an A5 card).
Print time: two and half hours on our CR-10.
