When I bought my sander 30 years ago, it had a metal plate to punch holes in the sandpaper after you installed the paper. The holes allow saw dust to get sucked into the collection bag.
I lost my metal plate a long time ago.
I made a new plate out of PLA. It was designed in Blender 4.2.
