This is a custom insert for the board game Sand. I started by designing a holder for the coin tokens that would fit in the box, and ended up designing a holder for every other component. This should make setting up and tearing down the game much easier, and most of the containers can be used during the game as well!
The insert is designed to be stored horizontally, but I suspect storing it on its side might be doable if you use the map or player boards as a lid for the player components, plus some padding. Try it at your own risk! If you're storing the game horizontally as intended, the lids are optional since gravity should do the job just fine.
Note: Some of the pictures show "prototype" versions of the print, particularly the player token holders, since I didn't want to waste more PLA by printing more copies when the work-in-progress versions were good enough. The final version of the player tokens holder is shown in the picture where it's the only thing shown (the one with the softened edges).
