I store my filament spools in airtight buckets. To remove excess moisture, I designed a holder for rock salt, which helps with moisture absorption. Rock salt can absorb up to 26% of its weight in water, making it a viable alternative to silica gel, which can absorb up to 40% of its weight. Alternatively, you can fill the holder with silica pellets. I created this solution because I enjoy tinkering and designing things. I realize it's a bit overcomplicated, but when you have a 3D printer, it's normal to have a bit of ADD and want to push the limits of what you can do.
