The Crystal Unleashed from Saber Forge has an always visible crystal compartment. This dramatically increases the number of sharp edges and makes wielding the saber a tricky task.
Thus this "thing"... Snap-on while wielding the blade around and snap-off while on display or showing off the crystal.
