Summary

OE Design published 12/05/2023 - 9293010

New Updated Design as of 12/29/2023 - 9293010.1
Update Notes: Elongated the slot for metal piece to fix fitment issues, and filled-in intermediate slope resulting in only one sloped area transitioning to flat top plane

This is a much stronger redesign of the OEM Saab Slide Dog from a C900 - Saab Part# 9292913. This part, used in combination with Targa's Sunroof Part 9280736 and TokyoChopSquad's Moonroof Slider 8248619 (links below) can rejuvenate a C900 sunroof's plastic pieces. It includes the hole for locking into place with either part 8248270 or 8248288, and it also includes threads for M4 screw 8249633 to screw into like the OEM (Hint: I use a thread tap to start and then finish it off with the OEM M4 screw once initial threads are established).

ALSO!!! Checkout the same part with a slightly different design by the fantastic designer DagRingson aka piece 3 below. Ya... I didn't even see this part was designed already so... ya... HERE'S ANOTHER VARIANT! :/

I've had quite high success printing this piece using ABS on a Kobra 2 Pro with the flat sloped portion resting against the printer bed, with the holes pointed away from the bed (rotation at 225 degrees). I used a NORMAL support structure in CURA, with SUPPORT OVERHANG ANGLES @ 45.0 DEGREES and HORIZONTAL EXPANSION @ 0.8mm. You'll need to lightly sand the sloped portion when finished for a perfect finish (unless you're super awesome or you're using a resin printer).

I've also had great success with ASA on a Kobra 2 printer with the same positioning as above. Polymaker ASA filament, Bed Temp 98F, Nozzle Temp 260F, cardboard enclosure with ambient beginning temp of at least 95F
