The file 'Rzeppa Joint (Constant Velocity) Mechanism 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 4.5MB.
Rzeppa Joint is a type of mechanical coupling to transmit rotational motion through a variable angle. Unlike a Universal Joint, the input and output speeds are the same. This mechanism is typically found in automobile applications.
Print the parts and assemble them as shown in the pictures.
1 of each part, and 6 balls are needed.
3 pieces of 1.75mm filament are used to lock the shafts in place.
A specially designed retaining ring is used to connect the input shaft.
Also uploaded are the outer and inner races, without the shaft. These parts are uploaded just for reference.
