Purchased a Ryobi 8in handheld pruner, while it did include metal dogs, they are so short however it would barley offer any protection or 'bite' while using the saw.
The connected spike strip file is just over 3 Inches long and helps protect the face of the saw, while offering better bite into the cut. The other file includes 3 individual shapes of the same size which can be used as a sacrificial foot if desired, or to set up the dogs as needed for other models of saws.
Because mounting surface of this saw was near flat, a thin layer of two sided tape was all that was needed to attach. Other saw's may not have a similar flat surface and alternative might be necessary.
Designed in TinkerCAD, and printed in PLA with toybox small format printer.
