The file 'Run Mousey Run (Exercise Wheel) 3D Printer Model' is (SLDPRT,STL) file type, size is 2.5MB.
I was trying to find a silent mouse exercise wheel that could use a standard 608 skateboard wheel bearing. I wasn't able to find one that fit on my print bed so I decided to design my own.
My design was inspired by MrFreakman's design, the Hamsterrad (Hamster Wheel). I loved the look of his design and actually printed it but found it to be very noisy due to the lack of a bearing.
Once completed you will need a M5x20mm countersunk cap screw and washer to lock the wheel firmly in place and lock it against the shoulder on the mouse wheel base. Do not over tighten!
With regards to using supports on this print. They will only be used for the horizontal part of the bearing cavity and will remove easily.
I hope you and your rodent friends enjoy this model
