I sincerely hope others will enjoy my designs. I am always pleased to hear about successful or useful prints. Please post a photo of successful ‘makes’ if you can.

RUINED COTTAGE

This little model was inspired by numerous abandoned buildings seen in the more remote areas of Britain. It is roughly OO or HO in scale. (1:76, 1:87). It prints okay in one piece without brim, raft or supports. I have modified the design slightly since printing to rectify a few minor issues and improve it slightly. I have been asked about scaling to 1:32 an I suggest you multiply by 2.38. However scaling up may not be successful without adding additional supports.

A fully restored version of the cottage is available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5049894

(You may note that the very first layer under the fireplace looks a bit ragged. Ignore it, it's just some lettering and it sorts out at the second layer.)

Any issues, please comment politely and I may be able to make some modifications. I designed it for my own OO-9 micro-layout. I hope someone will be able to use it too. I'd love to see photos of 'makes'.

I have included a photo of the inspiration for this design.

A REQUEST
I have found some of my designs for sale on Etsy, eBay and at exhibitions. Please do not use my designs commercially, they have taken me a long time to produce and I share them for free, not for others to make profit.

I am pleased that some of my designs are being used to help raise money for an Air Ambulance charity. I was happy to give my permission for this.
