These files make up a mould frame and a block that has a matching taper, after the silicone has been released from the mould frame and the object cut out you put the put your silicone mould in the block clamping both sides back together. Then fill i with wax/resin etc..
After much research of the Lost wax casting process i saw casters implement a method like this using glued together card stock or perspex, here is my more elegant solution.
Printing:
the 50mm file or the largest file should be printed with the spiral vase slicer settings.
print the frame with no base to use with the sprue base.
The sprue base should be printed with a flexible filament.
This is untested, changes may happen. If you use it before me, let me know if it works.
