The file 'RPI4 Double 2.5″ Hdd Ssd Enclosure (Zdendys Remix) 3D Printer Model' is (stl,STL) file type, size is 736.5KB.
The original enclosure works great. I chopped and cut to add a second drive bay. Also added a top vent to get the hot air out a little better. My pi4 cpu temps are about 5*C lower now at idle so that's nice.
The side plate with the power, AV, HDMI will need cut out. I was having trouble getting a clean surface around the port holes because of my need for supports there.
The blank side has a small hole in it for a small tactile "power" button so I didn't have to unplug it and plug it back in to start back up if I needed a shutdown.
I couldn't get a clean print with the top duct, but you might. I included files to print a body and duct separate or together.
There is room for 4010 or 4020 fan same as original.
This started as just adding room for another drive and it kinda mushroomed into all of this! Zdendys side plates for the single drive will still fit this double drive version. So, if you are planning to expand but don't have a second drive yet, this main body could be an option to save some printing time.
Printed fine at 0.3 with PLA
Supports in some spots are needed.
