This is a kit designed to modify a boat bilge pump to be used as a thruster. Included are pictures of the model of bilge pump to be used. The motor is available on Amazon for ~$20. The idea is to reduce the drag from just using the bilge pump motor by itself.
I used a hacksaw to cut around the edge of the white portion of the pump. After removing the white part (hose adaptor) of the bilge pump, slide on the thruster cover and thruster mount, and glue into place with a waterproof glue. Theres an example of a finished product in the images.

Two options for thruster mounts are available to accommodate different sizes of propellers.
