I'm working on making my Print-Rite DIY 3D Printer also function as a lightweight CNC router.
I have made this piece, so I know it fits in the printer, and you can take the extruder motor (or other nema17 motor, and mount it. I have not installed a chuck/bit on my motor yet, a tested it functionally.
From what I understand, you have to have the heater hooked up for it to function, so I am currently creating a new Y-axis piece to include a extra arm to hold the heater block while it's being used as a router.
