In order to create the roating table, I printed a circular disk with a small axis out of PLA. The disk with a diameter of approx. 11 cm is glued to an existing plastic ring. The mounting plate for the axle is also printed and screwed onto a white laminated chipboard. I pressed a ball bearing into the mounting plate.
The object to be scanned should rotate at the height of the camera position. This is why I printed as well a base and a head section for an approx. 15 cm long fiberglass rod.
The object is attached to the head of the rod with adhesive pads.
