This platform was designed to make 3D models (using photogrammetry) of small corals inside a methacrylate tank with salt water.
The tank was made with 10mm thick methacrylate and has an external measurements of 268mm(l) x 266mm(w) x 260mm(h).
All printed parts was made with FDM printing in PLA except the magnetic ring into the tank (piece no. 5) which is printed with resin to prevent the magnets from oxidizing, and the calibration ring (piece no. 14) which can be made of laser-cut methacrylate or printed with resin.
The 2 pieces No. 9 and the 2 of No. 10 will be glued to piece No. 11. The rest will be fixed with stainless steel screws.
