Microcut's belt tensioner is too wide for the belt path on my Rostock Mini Pro. To streamline the design and eliminate a perceived weakness in the original carriage design for the Rostock Mini, I attempted to merge the two designs into one, allowing for the open-ended belt to close at the carriage itself rather than weave through the carriage on one side of the loop and use a 3D printed clip to hold the other side of the loop closed.
Sadly the final piece did not make for a great printed object using the default infill settings on Slic3r and my printed test broke while attempting to remove the supports. I believe I was able to correct all of the errors in the merged STL mesh however if you would like to try out the modified carriage.
