The file 'Roof Adaptor For OpenLock 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 116.2KB.
I had been looking for a way to make more complex roofs with the OpenLock System so I whipped up this little adaptor. It has a tiny nub so that it snaps into place to simplify construction so don't let that throw you. They are meant to be snug. This is tested with the slate roofs from Printable Scenery as shown.
Update Dec 28th 2017
Added extended adaptors with more length at one end which solves a minor problem I was having with the ascetics. I also realized that this could be a convenient place to hang objects from like signs, ropes & pulley's, banners... etc. So, I did a quick proof of concept for an inn sign. Its really basic and like all these parts, needs a wood texture... so its more of a template than a final product. have fun with it. I may see about adding textures to these parts, but its likely Printable Scenery will do something official or someone else will remix these parts before I get a chance to do that.
All this is to support and hopefully extend the great OpenLock system. If you don't know About Printable Scenery or the other companies that support this standard be sure to check them out. Printable Scenery makes beautiful stuff!
Note
On this early version of the inn sign you will have to drill out the holes slightly. Also I did not bother with trying to glue on the caps, I just melted the ends a bit once the hooks were fed through the holes.
