I really like the design of the Tumbler Diamond Rolling Knife Sharpener but I did not like the price point. So I decided to make a simple version for myself.
This roller uses two 608 bearings and four 6mmx3mm magnets.
The 608 bearings press into the main body, the axle slides through the bearings and the wheel then press onto the the axle on each end. The axle may need to be sanded to fit through the bearings. The O-Ring is to be printed out of TPU and slipped into the grooves on each wheel.
The bearings and axle are a tight fit. You will likely have to sand the axle down to get it to fit through the bearings. Glue the rollers to the axle for rigidity.
The angle block has both 15 and 20 degree angles and two spots on each side for 6mmx3mm magnets.
At this point the idea is to just cut 1500 and 3000 grit sand paper and stick it to the sides using removable double sided tape. I am also playing with the idea of using a hole saw to cut out my existing wet stone and glue that to the sides of the roller.
