If you have a Rollei 35, you know how wonderful they are. The only gotcha that I've found is that there is no way to turn off the light meter between uses. So unless you keep the meter sensor covered, or the camera in its carry case, the light meter is always active and draining the battery.

I've seen meter cover designs that require adhering a sliding "shutter" to the face of the camera. Elegant and minimalist, but they need to be taped or otherwise stuck on to the face of the camera. Not wanting to alter the look of my beautiful vintage camera, nor keep it in its case between uses, I designed this slip on cover.

There are two versions: one with a captured end, and one with a closed end. They both work great. The captured end version will not slide off accidentally, though, in practice, the open ended version hasn't either.

Now I can keep my lovely camera on my desk between excursions for me and all the world to appreciate!
