Summary

Replacement nut for the Rogue RLS1 Lap Steel guitar. This is a direct replacement using the same screw holes, although I would recommend a longer and larger screw. It will work with the existing hardware but has been designed to accommodate a #5 wood screw with a pan
head. The string spacing on these is 3/8" which makes the nut slightly wider than the original. This will give you a little more room for playing single notes with the bar and behind the bar bends. I printed these solid, the original nut is hollow. I have included 2 versions designed to keep the tops of the strings flat with the different string gauges required for C6 and Open G tuning. The Open G will probably work for Open D and E as well. Printed with 100% infill I found an improvement in sound as compared to the original hollow nut. I would recommend printing in a harder material, PLA seems to work fine but I would think PETG would be too soft. I recommend a brim to keep the corners from lifting during print; I use 8mm.
