The file 'Rod And Connections Shelf Support 3D Printer Model' is (STL,stl) file type, size is 3.7MB.
This shelf support is designed for shelves that are at least 25cm deep. The end connection part has to be printed two times. Holes for screws to attach the support to the wall and the shelf are incuded.
The connecting parts are designed for rods with a diameter of 6mm. I used aluminium tube, but you can use anything you want including steel or wood. It could be that the holes are a little tight in which case you can drill them out a little bit.
Lengths of the rods:
[4x] 201mm
[2x] 143mm
[2x] 78mm
Hardware required:
[4x] 10mm (or longer) m4 bolts
[4x] m4 nuts
[10x] 4mm diameter countersunk screws
In the pictures you can find the assembly process (it is not too hard).
I would love to see anyone making these! If you have any problems or suggestions, please let me know in the comments. Good luck making!
