Wiring diagram and component placement diagram can be found with the image / thumbnail slide
On the placement diagram there is a moat around the inside edge of the stereo, it is indicated on the diagram by “Filler plaster / concrete” This is a resonance deadening feature that also gives the device more weight. It can be filled with anything or alternatively left it really only makes the sound a little better.
