I needed to make a couple changes to make it work for my application.

Primarily, I needed the insert to be half size in the vertical orientation direction to allow for some adjustment when using mounts that aren't specifically designed with Molle spacing. There are steel/aluminum backer plates available from BuiltRight and others that are horizontally adjustable, but none that I could find that were vertically adjustable.

I added a hole in the center of the insert to accept an M6 heat set threaded insert. The heat set inserts I am using are 8mm deep and 7mm in diameter.

I printed with 30% infill using PETG since I was going to be using these to support fairly heavy equipment using threaded inserts in the back of my truck which could reach high temperatures.

I have tested the full insert size and the vertically adjustable half insert size, but not the horizontally adjustable half insert size. Should work fine however.
