Summary

The dark satanic mills of victorian London - in this case in the East End - needed fuel to power the wheels of industry, and to generally pollute the atmosphere. To do that , and to carry the heavy goods produced in those factories, the canal network created during the industrial revolution was there to provide those transport links.
The set includes:-

  • lock gates and lock
  • straights and bend with grassy towpath
  • straights and bend with paving
  • raised canal for a second height of water (otherwise not much point having a lock)
  • a coal barge / narrow boat (hope you like the pun in the piccy!) Might need scaling down a bit. I've done a one-piece boat, and a two-piece boat for smaller plates
  • a canal end - where it joins the mighty Thames

The factory and hansom cab (and rat-man) are not included in this kit - they're elsewhere in Thingiverse
