A ring flash provides an even light source that illuminates the subject from the lens. This provides a method for taking photographs without the camera or photographer casting a shadow into the frame.
This isn't a ring flash, bur rather a ring light made with inexpensive white LED PVC strips (search: 12v pvc light strip on ebay). The lights are wired to a 12V DC wall wart.
This is designed to print in three pieces on a smaller printer, or to be printed as a whole on a larger printer. Hit the customizer to remove the bolt ears if you have a large build space.
I'm still waiting for a second light strip that's a bit longer to complete my outside track.
