This is retractable mount for the newer version of the PS4 camera for PSVR. The camera hides behind the TV when not in use to keep your room clean and minimal and lifts up and locks when in use.
I added a flat part on the outer slot so you can use Command Strips to semi-permanently mount it behind your TV (as long as your TV has a semi-flat back like mine does). You can subtly adjust the rotation when in the extended position by turning the knob slightly so that the knob is "crooked" on the resting support.
Future improvements include a more reliable way to lock the rotation when in the extended position.
