The file 'RepRap Adjustable Filament Spool Roller 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 26.1KB.
I bought some PLA on a spool that didn't quite fit my laser-cut spool roller. I really wanted to print something that would take a while and I didn't want to babysit the printer all night.
I had everything I needed to make this laying around the Schlaboratory - so I designed and printed the bases.
Easily adjustable for any width spool.
======== UPDATE ========
PLA can be tenacious stuff, and when you get toward the end of a spool, you may find that the spool doesn't have enough mass to stay on the rollers if you are feeding sideways. Initially, I ran the filament UNDER the front threaded rod (with some padding to keep the threads from gouging), but I made a guide to mount under the front element that helps to pull the spool of filament DOWN, onto the rollers.
