A minimal latch / clasp or fastener for those blow molded plastic tool cases with living hinge latches that always break off. I've tried a number of different fasteners to replace these but was never happy with the result. This is a durable interference fit clasp, small in size that you can screw on the side of the box in place of the broken hinged latch. The two parts are forgiving of poor alignment which can be an issue if the cases mating surfaces are not flat and flush to each other.
