The file 'Remixed Minimal Waves 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 117.9KB.
I hope this is how you do a remix, I've never done one before.
I really liked Isi8Bit's Minimal Waves earrings but wanted to play around with the design a little bit.
I wanted to give it layers, so I cut out the center and recreated it and gave the waves 2 different depths.
I then printed it with different colors so the different layers would stand out better.
I used 3 different colors and changed the colors 3 times. Since I have Simplify 3D it was pretty easy to do the color changes using the following (I started with Color 1, changed to Color 2, then Color 3, then back to Color 1):
{REPLACE "; layer 2, Z =" "M600n; Color Change, Z ="}
{REPLACE "; layer 5, Z =" "M600n; Color Change, Z ="}
{REPLACE "; layer 8, Z =" "M600n; Color Change, Z ="}`
If you do it manually, you change the color before layer 2, before layer 5, and before layer 8. All of this is assuming your design slices the same as mine. You'll have to look at yours and decide where the color changes go.
I also stretched the design because I like earrings that are long but not necessarily wide.
I made it 2mm thick (this came out to 9 layers) because for some reason I always feel like jewelry should be thin.
I hope you like it!
