The file 'Relpacement Tripod End-stop/hook Thing 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 88.7KB.
My Neewer brand 62" Aluminum tripod is great, but after several years of use, the only thing to ever break was the end cap for the riser tube. This threaded plastic insert acts as holder for the stabilizer weight hook and as an end stop that prevents the riser tube from leaving the tripod.
The original plastic part was much too brittle for this purpose with the repeated slams when quickly and fully extending the tripod. The CA-glued joints were often stronger then the plastic itself too!
Notes:
You may want to consider printing two at once if your printer lacks sufficient nozzle cooling.
A layer height of <0.2mm is recommended. I used 0.15mm in the photos above.
