The file 'Reliable Spool Holder – Fully 3D Printed 3D Printer Model' is (stl,gcode,3mf) file type, size is 6.0MB.
I wandered across thingiverse, yeggi, etc. I could never find a spool holder that didnt need bearings or they needed extra hardware. I decided I would just design something for myself and see how it worked. This filament spool holder did the job. the spacers sitting on the threaded rod helps relieve friction and lets the spool spin without the extruder straining. feel free to modify and just make a mention of my profile.I have printed 3 day prints with no issues.
please do not distribute this for money, this was made with the hobby version of fusion 360. I am not allowed to sell it due to that. I would love to gain traction on here so please comment how things go and I am willing to help if any questions.
Going to try doing modular tables soon once i get the designs right.
This is just for the next person who is in need and on a budget.
everything should be good at 25% give or take. the base should be good at 25%-50% up to personal preference.
simple screw is a barebones stl
*** The SCREW_TREE_SUPPORT_V3.3mf is recommended to be printed with a brim or in cura with tree support. whichever you feel is better for your printer. every printer is different. I had better with cura it is my own preference due to simplicity and advanced features can help with your prints. the file will open as the simple screw in either program. Then from there you can add your preferred supports and bed adhesion.
Enjoy!
