The file 'Rear Window Mount For Junsun 4.0″ Car DVR Dashcam Or Compatible 3D Printer Model' is (stl,FCStd) file type, size is 289.5KB.
This is a custom mount for a Junsun 4" DVR dashcam or other size-compatible models (see stock photo for reference). I made it as I already had a front dashcam and had this one laying around. The mount has angle adjustment and is fastened to the car body with double-side sticky tape (as strong as you can get). It is built around the dashcam's center of mass, the lens and has fairly even weight distribution on the car attaching surface.
I included the original FreeCAD files in case you want to modify something. The STL models were exported using Fusion command in FreeCAD, otherwise just make sure everything is solid before exporting.
The mount consists of 4 (four) frame pieces and 1 (one) piece that holds it on the car body inside. The mount requires several bolts and nuts for assembly, use whatever you have available, the holes are 4 mm in diameter. Install all the parts on the dashcam and tighten them with bolts. See attached pictures for assembly guide.
Orient the parts in the way it would require minimum supports, depending on your printer. Usually with the biggest flat side down on the bed.
I found out PLA holds the inside car temperatures and road bumps pretty well, however you can also use ABS if you want more rigidity.
