I've been slowly working on an updated and improved rear suspension for the Twin I Beam front suspension RC prerunner!
This new design has an improved shock mounting style that allows for a softer spring feel and higher degree of adjustment as well as uses a ready-made rear axle from the WLToys 12428 and 12423. Most pieces have been beefed up a little bit for greater reliability, especially the frame which has been highly stiffened and has more room for mounting components on. The new axle design overcomes the issues with a printed axle such as fragile gears and a high amount of slop. This also removes the need to buy bearings for the printed axle so the cost ends up being quite similar.
To complete this half of the truck you will need 2 120mm shocks, a collection of M3 screws and nuts, and the rear axle from the 12428 (I bought mine here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005425198232.html [select HBX02])

I haven't done much testing with this design yet unfortunately as I am still working on sourcing a good driveshaft and life has been busy with a new job and the Christmas season so I would appreciate any feedback. Good luck and enjoy!
If used in combination with the I-Beam front end on my profile page, this vehicles wheelbase ends up being 313mm or 12.3".
