The file 'Reaper “Blackstar Corsair Bravo” Conversion Kit 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 2.8MB.
This is a conversion kit for Reaper's Blackstar Corsair Bravo miniature.
I’ve been on a miniature-painting binge over the last few days, painting models that I’ve had around the office, but to keep it fresh, I’ve been heading over to my local game shop to grab Reaper Bones models to make 3D printable conversion kits. Today I grabbed the Blackstar Corsair Bravo and designed some arms, a helmet, and weapons to make the piece my own. The big experimental part for this one was a monofilamant whip made from, well, filament. (Hatchbox PLA, copper blended to yellow while running a filament change. All of us printers have these little strands around... likely everywhere.) The last image shows the model prior to modification.
These parts print without without support. Here's a little rundown of my process putting this together-
1) Print the parts (of course).
2) Cut off the arm nubs and glue the printed arms and helmet on to suit your taste.
3) Paint the model.
4) Grab a filament strand from a swap, using two colors you like, then glue it into the handle of the whip.
